REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM - SOFIA presents an exhibition dedicated to the new line of souvenirs to Sofia. It's called "Sofia for home." The official opening of the exhibition is on December 1, 2016 (Thursday) at 18:30.
"Sofia for home" presents souvenirs created by 8 Bulgarian designers working in different fields. It is organized by the idea of Studio Kit (collective advisory and curatorial activities in the field of creative industries).
During the exhibition can be seen for example bag / raincoat with typical Bulgarian embroidery; tangram game: Monument 1300 years Bulgaria; Guide with "wild cards" for unusual tourist experience; necklace with Cyrillic alphabet; carafe of water; vase in the shape of Vitosha; doll lion; print with Sofia folk embroideries.
Prototypes of the souvenirs are made for the exhibition. Perhaps the most important point, valid for all of them is that they have artistic value and simultaneously functional.
The official opening of the exhibition is on December 1, 2016 (Thursday) at 18:30 at the Regional History Museum - Sofia (Square "Banski" 1).
The temporary exhibition can be seen at the Museum during the period 2-11 December 2016 The exhibition is also the occasion to organize a series of accompanying events.
